Zo is Microsoft’s second attempt at an English language social chatbot. Zo uses conversational AI.It is comprised of two distinct sides—the task-completion side or productivity side and the emotional side. Zo learns from human interactions and is able to respond emotionally and intelligently. More than just fun and games, chatbot Zo provides the groundwork for increasingly complex and capable AI personalities that can be used in customer service and other areas. Microsoft says it plans to bring Zo to other “social and conversational channels such as Skype and Facebook Messenger” in future.
