We've built a platform to enable push-to-talk voice communication among groups of people. Virtual Airwaves is made to operate and feel like radio--groups are in channels, and in open/public channels you communicate with those closest to you at any time.. Our platform also allows private channels to be provisioned, which don't need to be geographically constrained. You can try it on any modern browser at https://cb.virtualairwaves.com/channel/1 (get a few friends on if it's quiet near you).
