TUTR donates 5-8% cash back to students for books, supplies, and tuition and 2-5% of all profits to local, educational charities. TUTR was created for three reasons; 1. Provide Tuscaloosa students a way to access tutors the exact moment they need it, 2. Give undergraduate & graduate students a way to earn money using their degree around their sporadic schedules. 3. Change the way tutoring happens. TUTR is available to tutor and student users 24/7 and from any location allowing them to access the app regardless of schedules or time. TUTR offers Academic and Trade subjects breaking into a market that is literally untouched. Tutors and students can interact through In-person and Text sessions to ensure both parties feel safe and comfortable and eradicating the problem of location. TUTR’s easy-to-use platform and inclusiveness allow the maximum number of users to give and receive tutoring services, while still monitoring the effectiveness of the tutors with reviews and ratings.
