The Chord Genome Project is a guitar platform that lets you search for songs based on the chords they use. If you do a search of G, C, and D – for example – the site will show you thousands of songs that use those 3 chords (and only those 3 chords). There’s no easier way to quickly grow your song repertoire. All these songs use chords you already know. Just pick the ones you like and polish them up a bit. If you add a new chord to your next search, you’ll discover thousands more songs that are only 1 chord away from being playable.
