My team and I have completed the prototype architecture and are looking for a small investment to move to the next phase, coding the app. I work as a certified labor, birth and post partum doula (birth support/coach) and this is the community that I work with and serve. I have done research as a doula, community outreach coordinator, administrator and fellow Mom, for the last year and I have taken the time to learn exactly what it is that my community desires and wants, as well as have learned from the experiences of the families and birthing people that I work so closely with, each day. I've taken the time to also test the market and traction by creating a few FB polls, hosted a virtual focus group with 20+ participants (a mix of doulas, past/present clients and family who know nothing about birth work). As well as hosted a focus group in a local park, among the community and received feedback that proves to me that this app has great value and will be successful.
