ThePlace find the ideal matches between a selection of medium to high-end restaurants and users.

ThePlace is the first smart hospitality platform, finding the ideal matches between restaurants and users and booking them automatically. Matches are based on each user’s persona, choices and requirements from time to time, meaning that they are tailored, efficient and quick. The entire process does not take more than 3 minutes. ThePlace solves the information asymmetry between restaurants and customers, creating valuable relationships rather than just one-time bookings. Users are assigned to a persona at onboarding, based on a quick and fun questionnaire. Whenever they need a reservation, they can choose to “Trust ThePlace” or input a series of filters. The app will return ready, tailor-made bookings from our selection of high-quality restaurants. Restaurants are also showcased on ThePlace’s feed, includes detailed profiles, original content on our partners and interactive statistics on the overall user base and on specific personas. ThePlace targets are quality-oriented users of all ages, with busy schedules, little time to plan and high willingness to spend and a restaurant panel including a selection of medium to high-end restaurants with solid value propositions. We will launch in London and in key European cities. Our core markets will be UK, Italy, Spain and France. ThePlace will eventually move to Northern/Eastern Europe. At a later stage, we will enter the US (mainly New York and Los Angeles).
