The use of intermediate servers (aka cloud) to transfer files through Internet (WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) throttles bandwidth, increases latency, limits size, and compromises security and confidentiality. We have created a platform, Takeafile, that allows file transferring without any of these issues by sending files from one device directly to another using only a browser.
