For independent SaaS startups like yours and ours, “data” is usually a cobbled-together combination of whatever Google Analytics or Mixpanel might hold, plus whatever Baremetrics/ChartMogul/Profitwell can infer from your Stripe account. A few more sophisticated teams might centralize KPIs in their application database, or collect them in a data warehouse using tools like Stitch or Tabby (our own offering). Ultimately, though, there is a big gap between the data practices of independent SaaS startups and their established or VC-funded counterparts. We built Tabby to level the playing field.
