Stingle Photos is an open-source photo gallery application with end-to-end encryption, backup, sync, and sharing functionality. Stingle is similar to your usual gallery app, but it has a lot going on under the hood. All photos and videos are always encrypted with strong, modern, and well-vetted cryptographic algorithms, so they are safe on the local storage and in the cloud. No one ever, even us, can't access your content, it's completely impossible since nobody has the keys except you. Only the owner can decrypt the gibberish back to its original form. This makes Stingle Photos resistant to data leaks that are very common these days. Stingle's cloud infrastructure keeps only encrypted blobs of data, which only the owner can decrypt. This guarantees users privacy and security. Stingle Photos will automatically import, backup, and sync your media. You can free up local space after files have been successfully backed up. Stingle Photos also features end-to-end encrypted sharing, which guarantees that only the receiver will be able to see the content that you have shared. We believe in openness and transparency when it comes to privacy and security. That's why we made Stingle Photos completely open-source, making it possible for anyone to verify our promises. Client apps don't have any closed sourced dependencies, so the whole codebase is open for analysis and verification.
