We are a Toronto based youth startup company developing a product that measures a user's blood alcohol level based on their saliva. We are in the prototyping stage at Ryerson University and expect to have it completed by the end of August. SpitStrips will be the best alcohol indicator on the market, offering practicality, portability, and higher accuracy rate when compared to alcohol detectors such as a breathalyzer, all at a substantially cheaper price. We have participated in a plethora of competitions, most notably our company placing first in the Social Enterprise Business category at the 2017 SAGE (Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship) Canada Nationals. We will be travelling to Ukraine to compete at SAGE Internationals this August 2017 in Odessa, Ukraine, representing Team Canada.
