This project aims at raising funds to solve an identified health gap which currently needs serious attention. During my research days and clinical practice related to my study, there were more deaths occurring due to long diagnosis time and wrong drug prescription due to emergency health concerns. Time for diagnosis of viral diseases has been a major issue in the health field and researchers have focused more on one diagnosis to one disease diagnostic tool and hence specific disease treatment. The challenge to this approach has been the lack of available data across different viral types to look at common gene expression levels across pathogenic viruses which is a powerful tool for cut across diagnostic tool designs. Our approach relies on microarray data across several chronic and epidemic pathogenic virus manifestations deposited at Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) profile database at NCBI/NLM/NIH. Our data identifies a clear pathway to early diagnosis and treatment of several viruses.
