Solcial is a permissionless social network allowing users to be rewarded fairly for their work, and promoting freedom of speech by allowing users to interact without fearing censorship or the risk of being banned. Solcial is an open-source blockchain social media platform available on desktop and mobile. It has microblogging features similar to Twitter, allowing any user to join and create text-based content, and upload their photos or videos. All users´ content will be stored on IPFS and accessed through a P2P layer that Solcial has been developing and is still implementing. Therefore Solcial doesn't rely on censorable servers or gateways. And the token-related operations (minting, trading etc) are all done on the Solana blockchain. Solcial allows creators to easily mint and sell their own SPL token allowing their followers to invest directly in them. On Solcial the user-token represents the brand value of creators and also gives the ability to offer exclusivity through the ability to establish “Tiered Feeds”. Apart from tokens, users on Solcial are also allowed to mint and display NFTs directly on the platform. Being built on Solana means users will experience a quick, convenient, and low-fee experience compared to other networks. By allowing creators to monetize through their token, Solcial has coined the “invest-for-subscription” model: when you buy the token of someone, you not only invest in them, but you also subscribe to their private posts, only visible to their token holders. These subscribers are tiered based on the number of tokens they hold.
