Snewz is a social news platform where all of the news is reported by users. Social media always get the news before the mainstream news sites and yet social media can also be clogged up with information which doesn't tell you what you really want to know: Why is the road closed down the street? Why is the police helicopter hovering overhead? This app bridges the gap between social media platform and news site, and since the users are adding the reports, they will always be current. Don't like the story you're seeing? Simply vote it down in place of more interesting user reports. Stories can be shared across to Twitter and Facebook and reported stories can be listed or shown on a map for local or global areas. The app is available now on the apple app store.
