Site Activity Index (SAI) became an idea when I was working part-time on a CMS company. I realized that there are plenty of metrics measuring traffic going into websites. There are however none measuring how much websites change. Retailers constantly talk about how important it is to update the website as it relates to increased conversion, retention and better SEO performance. Yet, there is no way to track website changes. I started Site Activity Index to fill this gap and to help decision-makers within marketing and e-commerce to make data-driven decisions.
