If you sign up on the Premium Plan, you are seen as a shareholder so will get a piece of Scholar Freedom’s profits at the end of each financial year – a simple and real thank you for choosing to publish on an equity-seeking system. With rejection rates as high as 90% and open access fees as high as US$11,000, the gatekeeping and profiteering in subscription and open access journals as a result of neoliberalism mean that the traditional system is no longer viable for a complete picture of the world's truth.
