Rubik is a search engine for commercial real estate properties. Commercial real estate investors can search for properties according to the risk category they belong to. Properties belong in one of the four risk categories: Core, Core Plus, Value Add and Opportunistic. Using machine learning algorithms and financial modeling, Rubik places properties in one of the aforementioned risk categories by considering metrics that range from the volatility of rental income to historical neighborhood vacancy rates. We then quantify the total risk and price it via the required return on the potential property investment.
