Hello, my name is Dev Grant and I am the founder of Re-Syked. After years of working in various electronic stores selling a variety of tech, it occurred to me that almost all electronic products are made from plastic and have a relatively short lifespan. That is when I decided that somebody needed to change the way plastic is used in technology; and that somebody was going to be me. Plastic water bottles are the most commonly used plastic item worldwide and because only 1 in 5 get properly recycled, the rest all end up in the landfills, streets or oceans making a mess of the earth, there had to be a better way to give more single-use plastic a new life, and now there is, with Re-Syked plastic water bottle phone cases made with at least 90% recycled bottles. This campaign, if successful, will allow Re-Syked to start mass production of our phone cases and can further help improve the recycled plastic industry, which is relatively untapped in the electronics industry.
