With the Google Image Charts API shutting down, I set out to build a replacement service that allows developers to create PNG images by encoding chart data and other options in a single URL. Some media such as email, SMS, and chatbots require static images. QuickChart provides an image generation solution that is simpler than Javascript charting libraries and does not require external dependencies. This project is free and open source.
