Pocket Sky works just like the sun: It uses soft blue light to suppress the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone. This is the most natural way for enhancing your wakefulness, performance and well-being. Pocket Sky will lift your mood and power you up in only 20 minutes a day. Whenever we are out of sync with the day-night cycle, for example when we travel overseas or work at night, or when winter deprives us of sunlight, we feel down and tired. Pocket Sky helps you to adjust your body clock to energize yourself, lift your spirits and enjoy better sleep. Pocket Sky builds on longstanding science, most recently recognized by the 2017 Nobel prize in Physiology or Medicine. Special receptors on the retina of our eyes respond to sunlight by suppressing the production of melatonin. This process is in charge of setting our body clock - the Circadian rhythm - and can be harnessed for coping with a number of discomforts like jet lag, falling and staying asleep or lack of sunlight during winter.
