Plotting Ratios

For one-on-one or whole-class mathematics instruction, use this Guzinta Math lesson app as a supplement for teaching plotting ratios on the coordinate plane--a key concept in 6th grade. The lesson app includes detailed instructor notes for each guided practice problem, with notes about extending discussion around each worked example and problem. Guzinta Math: Plotting Ratios includes a module that directly addresses plotting ratios using tables and also includes 2 new modules: (1) one lesson that students can use to compare ratios on the coordinate plane as well as with tables, and (2) one lesson in which students use a terrific programming platform, Trinket, to study if-elif-else and operators in the Python programming language.
