We do this via playlisting, or when musicians submit songs to playlist curators with the goal of getting their songs added to the playlists. This is the most effective and authentic method of music promotion because, when an artist’s song is added to a playlist, all of the playlist’s followers are automatically exposed to it. It also triggers the Spotify algorithm, which helps the artist gain more and more exposure over time. When our users, (primarily artists, managers, and labels), enter our site, they start by searching for relevant playlists, based on their genre, mood, or a similar sounding artist, from our growing catalogue of 15,000+ playlists. Then, they use their credits to unlock playlists they wish to pitch to. We offer customizable pitch templates, which simplify and speed up the pitch process by allowing users to write personalized yet concise messages that are more likely to get a response.
