Pinecone is a web-based protein design program. It allows you to discover, design and distribute novel protein constructs. You can build individual proteins, combinatorial sets of proteins, and mutation sets without needing to bother with actual DNA sequences. By importing your own sequences, importing from other databases, or by using functional domains that we have collected in our library you can quickly build novel proteins. Once you have designed your proteins, sets of proteins, or mutation libraries, Pinecone will assist you in purchasing DNA encoding those designs from a supplier of your choice.
