Account free video conferencing with a rooms component that lets you use VC within a physical meeting room. The server can also be hosted in your own cloud for extra privacy/security. Why we exist: I needed to replace our video conferencing hardware/licenses, and to kit out our 10 meeting rooms with Google Meet would have cost us $26k over 5 years and $40k+ with Zoom (this clearly shows how they are as valuable as they are), so, frustrated at this pricing and being serial entrepreneurs, we decided to build on the open-source Jitsi platform and make our own solution for person to person and for dedicated video conferencing in physical meeting rooms. I also love a challenge and what better challenge is there than to go up against Google, Microsoft and a $34bn darling in Zoom (with cracks beginning to appear)? We're focussed on security and privacy and although we are also cloud-based, businesses can launch our server in their own cloud and can be in full control over who has access to their data as a result. Including preventing analytical data flowing to Google or Facebook, etc. Our platform is free to use and our rooms software allows businesses to repurpose/use a cheap PC to create really cost-effective video conferencing rooms. Even our rooms software is free (Zoom Rooms is $49/month/room), we plan to add premium features in the future but our current products cover all the features the majority of businesses use from Zoom, etc.
