This started out as a project to create a "Interface" that would be more productive for music creators and producers than the "Traditional Track Interface. The Track Interface forces the user to stop and align samples, copy samples across the track to meet bar/measure count, time stretching, etc, that interferes with the creation process. N’Harmony internally maps a invisible track into sections. You grab sample or create a midi loop and click okay. It aligns duplicates, and time stretch to meet the section you are working on. A bonus to the sectional method allowed me to create a harmonizer (pattern sequencer) that beat maps each loop added and pitches the beat/note(s) to create new melodies from existing melodies. Add VST and VSTi support and you have one of the most productive and powerful packages on the market. The design became so simple, clean and productive any one can use it (from the novice/unskilled to the semi and pro music creators).
