To simply put, Mappleseed born out of necessity My iMac needed to be repaired. After a strenuous search, I realized that there were no alternatives to the Apple repair shop in my area. So on a hunch, I decided to fill this gap by opening an alternative repair shop for “out of guarantee” iMacs. I used the petty cash from repairing a couple Macs and launched Mappleseed. After spending countless hours developing our web engine, I decided that it was finally time to take the plunge. Since then, Mappleseed has grown from a one person operation, to a small, but agile team. We now offer a variety of services, including but not limited to: web & app development, web design, branding, IoT & 3D printing. Our clients often ask us what Mappleseed means. To us, Mappleseed reflects the rebirth of a seed. But most importantly, our brand represents the opportunity for ideas to flourish into startups, and the ability for startups to flourish into the brands that they’ve always wanted to be.
