Female Founded start up bringing, crowd sourced and star rated directory of instructors to the local community (starting with NYC), allowing individuals to search easily and find "in-person" instructors in categories that they would normally only be able find on viral teaching videos, and learn in the comfort of their own home. The beautiful thing about Lyghtly is that it can work for children and seniors. For example, if a parent wants to find a piano instructor for their child, they can. If the senior is a retired music teach he/her can create a profile and teach music lessons. We also offer "background checked" instructors to give parents peace of mind. In our first month of launching (October 2017) we had 2000 hits. So far we've onboard about two hundred instructors, and on weekly basis receive messages asking when we will be available the location the individual is messaging from.
