Long And Short is a game of predicting and influencing social sentiment on brands and public figures. We call them ‘$cashtags’. Brands $cashtags include anything from corporate brands and popular products to sports teams and movie titles. Public figures $cashtags feature actors, artists, athletes, business leaders, politicians, and other famous individuals. How Does It Work? Long And Short works like a stock market for sentiment, where players take long (?) or short (?) positions on the listed $cashtags, and earn points for predicting changes in social sentiment. A $cashtag’s social value is the sum of all long positions minus all short positions. If you have a long position on a $cashtag, you earn points when its value goes up and lose points when it goes down. If your position is short, you earn points when the value goes down and lose points when it goes up. You can track all your positions and points in your portfolio.
