This platform is designed to address the challenges faced by CPG brands in finding reliable manufacturers, which has traditionally been a complex and time-consuming process involving trade shows, brokers, and numerous negotiations. Founded in 2023 by Oisin Hanrahan, Umang Dua, and Jordan Weitz, Keychain leverages AI to facilitate a more transparent and efficient supply chain for packaged goods. It helps brands navigate the entire manufacturing process, from sourcing manufacturers and competitive intelligence to negotiating terms and ensuring compliance. Keychain's network already includes over 10,000 manufacturers, making it one of the most extensive platforms of its kind. It aims to cut down the time it takes for products to reach store shelves by up to 50%, thereby accelerating the product development cycle. The company recently secured $18 million in seed funding, led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and supported by other prominent investors.
