"To make games look retro and realistic rather than futuristic" KAWS4 EFFECTS is a video game enterprise startup to develop games in the incubation space at Ravensbourne. The concept is to use old game mechanics from the past to use as an inspiration for game development and to innovate new game ideas. It all started when Chris Szkoda the founder of KAWS4 EFFECTS won the incubation space award through SEEDS (Self-Employment Entrepreneurship Diversity Scheme) programme at Ravensbourne university. The reason Chris Szkoda wanted to set up a game enterprise is not just because finding work to get into the games industry is difficult, is because he wants to be part of the games industry.” The university doesn't teach game design and the job market for the games industry is very slow, it would a great idea to encourage students to take part in Chris's video game projects to help students with their career pathway.
