In 2003, Shatrughan a hospitality graduate, Kabru’s founder was travelling to Kabru, Himalayas , During a stay in tent house at Kabru, Himalayas, Shatrughan met a seventy year old master soap and wellness products maker who, in a family factory, still crafted soaps and wellness products according to a three hundred year old traditional triple milling process, always using the finest natural ingredients. His artistry, love of his craft, and extraordinary knowledge and experience in soaps and wellness products making, left a lasting impression on Shatrughan. In 2008 after completing an MBA with Auckland University of technology, and working in a 5* hospitality in beautiful New Zealand, shatrughan was inspired to return to his roots to re unite with this genius. Thus began an association with a strong desire to promote Kabru to the world.
