With all the spare time brought on by lockdown, I dedicated a lot of it to working on side projects. One of them was an embedded feedback tool for websites putting feedback and bug reports directly into GitHub issues. I looked for something but most had more features than I needed, so I built something for myself! After dog-fooding for a while, friends started to ask me if they could use it too. So I got to work! That leads us to where I am today, bringing Issue Embed to more people. Issue Embed's free tier is now available on the GitHub Marketplace. Issue Embed allows solo devs/product managers/founders to quickly get feedback from their websites straight into their GitHub Issues. As a solo dev, I have found this very useful to combine my normal dev workflow and what feedback users provide. Installation is very easy, just pressing the install button on the marketplace listing then copy and pasting a snippet of HTML! Would love to hear what you think and get some feedback.
