HypaType is program which takes the hard work out of typing, leaving you to just think of the witty ideas and words of wisdom. It does this with "auto-completion"; as you start to type a word, a sort of pop-up hint called a ‘tip’ comes up showing what the program guesses you are typing. If it's guessed right, you press the space bar, and the rest of the word appears automagically. It runs in the background completing words, no matter what program you're using. Unlike other "autocompletion" programs it automatically enters the word when you type a space - there's no special key combination. However the biggest improvement with HypaType over the alternatives is the colored tips. These show what it's going to do, but also tell you when you could of used a shortcut to type a word but didn’t.
