Globeport is a social network and developer platform built on principles of privacy by design. Globeport looks very much like a social network but there is a major difference! The exchange of information is handled by an underlying implementation of the Signal protocol (whispersystems.org) providing end to end encryption. Personal information, posts, comments and interactions remain private and are not accessible to the platform for the purposes of analysis or monetisation. The aim is to build an innovative, privacy aware, feature rich service based on a foundation of information ownership and control. Globeport will exploit every advantage offered by its underlying security. The development platform Elements will provide an intuitive design/coding environment for the creation of interactive, engaging and functional content feeding directly into this framework. This content may include forms, surveys, quizzes, games and adverts shared via in-app and out-of-app publishing channels.
