Ge'NeL Magazine

Create high quality geek culture content free from misogyny, inter-sexism, racism and homophobia.

Ge'NeL wants to change how women are viewed, talked about and treated, not only in geek culture, but in general. We want to promote inter-sectional feminism--solidarity and sisterhood among women from all walks of life. We want to change the narrative. And we can do that with your help. Our male counterparts' idea of dealing with sexism, racism and inequality in geek culture is to simply ignore it and brush it off. This serves only to make bigotry more casual and freely used. And, unfortunately, because of ignoring bigotry, it's not relegated to simple "trolling", allowing it to become widespread and acceptable, especially among youth. This is unacceptable. This is why Ge'NeL creates geek and pop culture content from a woman's perspective in order to foster an inclusive community free from sexism, racism, homophobia and transphobia. Read more about Ge'NeL and find out why you should help us change the game.
