GameBuddy for League of Legends is the first social network for League of Legends players to display in-game news to friends and find matching teammates. The platforms Web, Android and iOS are supported. With help of the official game interface, users can create and verify their profile in just a few steps. GameBuddy suggests players that match the user's style of play, such as role or skill. Furthermore, already existing friends can be taken over into the app. GameBuddy analyses the games of each user and automatically generates news items when something interesting about a user happens. Players can also share special games or recent performances with just one click. Each of these contributions can be liked and commented on. In addition, the user has access to a variety of statistics. Players receive a "GameScore" for each match played, which provides a clear overview of the performance and, in addition to the internal ranking, promotes comparisons between friends.
