We started from a question why the digital generation, particularly students in universities, doesn't like to use digital books, but they prefer paper books even though all aspects of our lives are moving toward to digital from analog very quickly. We develop a new intuitive app “PDF reader with in-app notepad," Flexcil, for tablet devices. Through user-experience innovation between the tablet device and stylus usability and note taking, we solved the critical inconvenience of note taking and annotation on the digital books and documents. Our vision is to help students replace their thick and heavy textbooks with a thin and light digital book and enhance the study environments around the world.
