Finansi App

Take care of your personal finances

Hi everyone! 3 YEARS plus making on the free time and the product has finally been launched. There still is a lot to be done, but it is already OK for use. The story is: I work in tech and wanted to study some technologies. One option would be to simply read stuff over the internet. Another one would be to go further than reading and starting coding examples. But I wanted to do something real while learning, so what would it be? I've always been interested about finance and it is an important subject for everyone's life. The apps that I had tried for Personal Finance had many flaws: wrong calculations, slow, many bugs, excessively complicated interface, not good for multiple currencies, not good for family sharing, etc. So why not study while trying to make my own Personal Finance App? 3 years later, here I am and Finansi App is ready. "Disclosure": I'm not a new developer. I'm 32 now and have been programming since I was 12. In 2019, another app that I made was awarded by Google as the best overall app of Brazil. The goals were: - Have full offline support - Have full internationalization support - Have no delay while using - Have family and friends sharing - Be full serverless Technologies: - Flutter for the app - Python/Django for some backend stuff - Node/TS/Firebase Cloud Functions for some backend stuff - 2 databases: Amazon Aurora, Firebase Firestore - 2 local app storages: SQLite and Secure Storage - 2 cloud storages: Amazon S3 and Firebase Storage - Crashlytics and Bugsnag for bug tracking - Firebase Cloud Messaging and OneSignal for pushes - Firebase Dynamic Links plus another custom implementation - Firebase Authentication for some things, custom JWT following security standards for other stuffs - AWS SES for emails - AWS + Serverless.com for some infrastructure stuff There is still a lot to be done, mostly regarding charts, transactions analytics, forecasting, etc. I have pushed hard to avoid bugs but as it still has few users, you might encounter something. This might not be the fanciest designed app and look simple, but it will work smoothly and does the job masterfully. You can also export everything to Excel by the way. Feedbacks are greatly welcome. I only work on this on my free time, it will be evolving but not as fast as I would like. Thank you all! Upvotes are greatly appreciated :)
