The EzzyBooks App story begins back in October 2010, when Kelvin Taku started Cotek Systems. Kelvin was a Freelancer and was busy flying around executing projects for clients. When it came to billing clients, Word and Excel were frustrating to use and weren’t built to create professional looking invoices. He decided to try Intuit QuickBooks. Needless to say that if you are a busy Freelancer or Small Business Owner, QuickBooks was too complicated. You needed to go back to school or hire an Accountant to learn how to use QuickBooks. No kidding. Knowing there had to be a better and EASY way, Kelvin decided to create it himself. A solution that had the capabilities of QuickBooks but easy to use. A solution that was tailored for Freelancers and Small Business Owners. Kelvin started working on the project day and night (including weekends), trying to come up with cool features and a user-friendly interface. Over the next one month without writing a single line of code, he designed a solution that is both easy to use and highly secured. The solution became the foundation of EzzyBooks.
