DontEdit

A writing tool that doesn't allow you to edit or delete.

Many writers have found it best to first get their thoughts on the page before editing. Some people will go as far as to turn off their monitor or remove their backspace keys in order to force themselves to keep writing. In practice, it often makes the entire writing process a lot easier. That's not to say you shouldn't edit, but the idea is that you get all your thoughts down first, and then spend the time to edit afterwards. My first book was written with this strategy in just 48 hours. I then spent months editing it before I finally published it. This is also great for journaling because it allows you to focus on your thoughts and now how your words sound.
