Datacy is a data collection service, a data management platform and a data marketplace. It incorporates blockchain technology, a distributed file system and advanced security measures to offer individuals and businesses a safer, more transparent, cost efficient and less invasive way to gather, store, share and use data. Datacy has been designed to allow users to easily and efficiently collect, collate and sell their personal data through a single platform - whilst exercising complete control over how it is accessed and used. Our privacy and security-focused infrastructure will also allow businesses to create and buy bespoke zero-party datasets that are more accurate, more robust and ethically sourced directly from the users and sold with full user consent. We started datacy because we believe there should be an alternative to how consumer data is handled today. We are focussing on creating what we hope will be the best data solution in the world - a more considerate and efficient way for businesses to access, use and share consumer data that respects individuals’ privacy and choice. Our mission is to become the place where the world goes to, manage, buy and sell data.
