My dad owns a restaurant in central Copenhagen, and since corvid-19 and all the restrictions that came along with it, their revenue has taken such a huge hit. His restaurant is in a high traffic location, so he never really had to rely on takeaway / delivery until now. He contacted various companies like justeat.com, and where blown away by their pricing (just-eat charges 18% of his revenue and $1349 USD start up, which is just insane). Being a software developer myself, I created an online food ordering and customer communication system for him to install on his current website and help his situation. And now i relaunched it as a SaaS product for every restaurant to enjoy. Some of the current main features are: - Real time chat to handle questions, table bookings ect - Delivery - pay online, pay cash on delivery or pay with creditcard on delivery - Takeaway - pay online, pay cash on pickup or pay with creditcard on pickup - Analytics I decided to not charge a percentage of revenue so restaurants still would be able to handle cash payment orders.
