In engineering surveying, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and GPS applications, coordinate conversion is a fundamental yet frequent operation. Raw GPS data is typically based on a geographic coordinate system (latitude/longitude), while actual engineering construction and map production often require planar coordinate systems like the UTM projection. To bridge this gap, we developed the Engineering Survey Coordinate Conversion Tool. This tool strictly adheres to the WGS84 (World Geodetic System 1984) standard ellipsoid parameters, the Earth model universally adopted by GPS systems.
