Code Lyseum is the best way for a beginner to start learning computer programming. Our coding lessons are live streamed to our students so that they get to interact with our instructors while staying comfortable at home. Prior to starting Code Lyseum, Yao-Hong Kok (creator of Code Lyseum) wanted to teach coding to teenagers through project-based learning. During that time frame, he met a young black male (let's called him, James) who had never ever touched a laptop but he wanted to learn coding. James was obviously living in deep poverty. Unfortunately, Yao-Hong were not able to make his class successful due to several reasons. Hence, he was never able to serve people like James. Code Lyseum will be more than just a business. We aim to be a social business that would cater to those in need by teaching them one of the best skill to learn in modern days - coding.
