Im a parent to a beautiful little girl, she's my world, and along with her mum, we try our very hardest to teach her about the world. I think we do a pretty good job but my gut says I can do more, so I had a long hard think about the things we can do help our children more and ways we can make the world better for them, which obviously led me to down the path of "we waste a lot of things" How do we fix it? put simply we need to teach kids the importance of this in a fun and engaging way. And whats more fun than making things? Making things what move and make noises of course. So ByteSize Box was born... Each month we send you a box of "stuff" which can be turned into 1 or 2 experiments using a recycled product such as a plastic bottle, or some card, or both! We keep kids engaged with long term experiments utilising recycled and sustainable products. We keep recycling in the front of every thought so kids are actively looking for ways to reuse stuff you would normally throw away
