The app allows users to order and pay for their drinks using their phone. Within the app, the user can rate beers and drinking establishments so other users can know what and where folks like to drink. The near by feature allows users to see what bars are around them that take BarBack. Once you choose a bar you can call, get directions to the location, visit the bars website and post to social media all within the app. Since the user pays with the credit card, you never have to open or close a tab, which means you can walkout when you want to. **For bars** -Lower their transaction fees since now the customer will pay the credit card merchant vice the bar. -Receive socioeconomic data analytics like never before. Currently they get aggregate data (sold 100 beers a night) with BarBack they'll get data of patterns of who is buying those drinks (average age of buyers, distance from their home to the bar, etc) -Increase the bartenders utility anywhere from 16%-22%.
