Bernadette Davis founded Automated Books, LLC in 2017. Since then, it has published the novel Divining Another Dream in hardcover format, and it has published the Google Play app, Multiplicity. Divining Another Dream has been made into a multifaceted text. On the one hand, there is the story component, which is accessible through the printed version. On the other hand is the interactive component, which is accessible for free through Multiplicity. Multiplicity's purpose is to supply a playground for authors to work with texts that have already been written. The author's job with these texts is to rearrange their sentences into a new, and perhaps better, story. Along with Divining Another Dream, Multiplicity features highly modified versions of Frankenstein, The Scarlet Letter, and Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Nine more titles, four of which will be in Spanish and four of which will be in Chinese, are forthcoming. They should be available by the end of April.
