Aphinity

Aphinity is a group platform centered around the idea of building a community through the connection of users that share similar interests/experiences. It allows users to form groups, and create/discover events that they are interested in. Aphinity answers the question, “what is there to do around me right now, and with who?”. This is a platform that can connect users in a platonic way to solve the need for discovery of shared interests and connections. An event feed and a live map can show users what’s happening around them in real-time, at the exact moment that they request the information. Instead of painstakingly planning out logistics with friends or doing background research on venues and event information from different sources, users will have a centralized location from where they can plan their social logistics. This saves time, simplifies connection, and provides access to a social experience users might not have otherwise found out about.
