Alterra Pure was created as a brand dedicated to de-toxifying the bedding industry and your home. We work with the organic co-op to identify social programs in the farming villages to assure that our farmers benefit from our success and your purchase. Third party social programs are great, but we verify that benefits go from your purchase to the farmers that grew your organic cotton. Half the brands selling "organic" cotton bedding online are not certified and are in all probability, not truly organic. Organic fraud is rampant and there is no government regulation to help the situation.
