Founded in June 2018, Acoutera is an online platform that makes it easy for homeowners to get accurate quotes for their home renovation project online. By filling out a simple survey, we are able to give contractors all of the relevant information to get prices for the project. Verified contractors in the city will respond with real quotes. The homeowners can then discuss and negotiate a contract via the in-app chat, agree on a deal, and even send an initial deposit through our payment processor. The payment is held in escrow until the contractor starts or finishes the project, allowing peace of mind for the homeowner, and guaranteed projects for the contractor.
