Brooklyn-based startup called 2ndSquad (2ndSquad.com) is a new experiential social website/app. We've developed an algorithm website that matches groups of people to personalized experiential curated events that will result in- at the very least- amazing experiences with new people and hopefully, creating great new friendships between people (because meeting new people can be hard in a big city at times). Our events can be as small as 6 people or as large as 20 people and run the gamut from : Whiskey Tasting, Skee Ball, Cocktail Mixology Classes, etc. There may be other social event websites/apps available to people, but this is the first website/app equally concerned about the compatibility of the people at the event as well as the location and the actual experience. 2ndSquad is focused on getting the right mix of people that will connect and have a memorable time and form bonds. Currently in the process of launching in private beta with a small number of users in the NYC area.
